Meet the Scholars

Meet the Scholars is an ongoing series of collegial conversations between teachers and eminent historians around the theme of “Present-ing the Past: Historical Perspectives on Contemporary Issues.” Dr. Dee Andrews of CSU East Bay will lead the conversations, joined by a range of visionary scholars such as Clayborne Carson, Eric Foner, Gary Nash, Alex Saragoza, Ruthanne Lum McCunn, and others. An associated book group provides a forum for participants to discuss each scholar’s research in greater depth, focusing on one of their books and a selection of the primary sources that inspired that work.
